- A few years age I was looking for different RatTerriers when I seen Briarbey's websight, these dogs caught my interest. I purchased my first puppy from Briarbey Kennel from Ohio in 2014. Briarbey Kennel has been very helpful with the history of her dogs and helping with the direction of the search to find the best Decker Terriers in the Country from kennels.

I bought the best of the best and now I will continue breeding these dogs to help create an even better and more beautiful Large Terrier.
Fisk Hardwoods Kennel is producing some of the nicest what is also know as Decker Terriers in the country and we are proud of what has been accomplished. With the limited gene pool, the research narrowed down the remaining breeders who had the last of the Original 52 dogs that made up the look and temperament. We are confident that these dogs have a natural hunting instinct so we are not emphasizing on high prey kill dogs but concentrating on even tempered and great personality dogs.
Pets and Hunting Dogs
The Decker Terrier breed is used for more than just hunting rats and other small vermin. They have been used on wild boar hunts as well as deer hunt. Treeing squirrel to flushing rabbit, quail, pheasant and other fowl. They have been used on ranches to guard against coyote and fox. They have also been used for City dwellers who seek a loyal companion and therapy dogs.
